What actually matters in an AI affiliate program

Headline commission percentages are a trap. A 50% cut of the first month on a $20 plan is $10. A 10% lifetime cut on a customer who keeps buying credits for three years can be several hundred. Before you pick a program, look at five things:

• Recurring vs one-time. Recurring (or spend-based) compounds. One-time CPA is simpler and usually smaller.
• What the commission is calculated on. Subscription invoice, first payment only, or actual usage? Usage-based programs avoid clawbacks when users refund unused balance.
• Cookie window. 14 days is tight for a considered SaaS purchase. 90–180 days is generous. Lifetime attribution is rare and valuable.
• Payout floor and method. $25 via PayPal is easy. $100 via USDC is fine if your volume is real and you already hold crypto.
• Audience fit. An AI writing tool will not convert a YouTube shorts audience. Promote the product they already use.

ElevenLabs

The public ElevenLabs affiliate page is unusually clear: recommend ElevenCreative, ElevenAgents, or ElevenAPI, and earn up to 22% of qualifying subscription payments for the first 12 months, with no stated cap on volume. Tracking and payouts run through PartnerStack. Cookie length is not published on that page.

This is the default voice program for most AI publishers. The product is expensive enough that 22% of a year of Pro or Scale is real money, and the audience (podcasters, YouTubers, agent builders) is easy to write for. The catch is the 12-month window — after that, the residual stops even if the customer stays.

Notion

Notion’s AI features sit inside a product people already pay for, which is why the affiliate program converts on productivity and “second brain” content rather than on “AI tool” content. The official program pays up to $50 per activated signup plus 20% of year-one revenue. A referred workspace that upgrades to Plus or Business within 180 days of the click is eligible. Attribution is last-click, via PartnerStack. Self-referrals are banned; refunds in the first two months can be clawed back.

Best for: productivity bloggers, template sellers, and YouTube channels that already demo Notion. Weak for pure AI-art or AI-video audiences.

Jasper

Jasper still has the strongest brand among AI writing tools aimed at marketing teams, and the legal terms are public. The Marketing Affiliate Program Agreement pays 25% of the subscription price on Creator and Teams plans for the first 12 months. Business / enterprise plans are not commissionable. If a lead does not buy within 14 days of the first click, you earn nothing. Minimum payout is $25 via PayPal or Wise. After 100 leads and 100 conversions in a rolling year, the rate can step up to 30%.

The 14-day cookie is the weakest tracking window in this list. AI writing purchases are often compared for weeks. If you promote Jasper, put the link next to a free trial CTA, not at the bottom of a long research piece the reader will bookmark and return to later.

HeyGen

HeyGen’s Social Creator program is built for people who already make video, not for SEO blogs. Official terms: 35% recurring for 3 months (they advertised 50% from 1 August to 31 October 2026), 30-day tracking, 60-day verification before payout, $100 minimum, paid on PayPal in the first three days of the month. You generally need 5,000+ followers on at least one platform. They explicitly do not want blog-only or paid-search promotion.

If you make talking-head tutorials, UGC-style ads, or avatar demos, this is one of the cleaner creator programs. Synthesia, Murf, and Writesonic — confirm before you promote

These three show up in every “best AI affiliate programs” roundup, and the public rate cards are messier than the roundups admit.

• Synthesia is widely listed at 25% of Starter and Creator payments for 12 months, 60-day cookie, tracked on Rewardful. Their marketing site did not publish those numbers on a stable public URL when we checked in September 2026. Treat the listing as a lead, not a contract.
• Murf (AI voiceover) is widely listed at 20% recurring for up to 24 months with a 90-day cookie — a longer residual than ElevenLabs if it is still accurate. The public affiliate URL we tried did not resolve. Check the live partner page before you build a content cluster around it.
• Writesonic is the worst of the three for conflicting numbers: some directories say 20% for 12 months / 60-day cookie, others say 30% lifetime. Do not publish a rate until you are inside the dashboard.

Also worth a look

InVideo is commonly listed as 50% of the first payment (not recurring) with a 120-day cookie on Impact — a fat CPA if you have a short-form video audience that actually converts, and a poor compounding asset if they stay for years.

CapCut is commonly listed at 35% recurring, lifetime, on Impact. If those terms hold, it is one of the better residuals in consumer video, but CapCut’s own help pages and regional availability change often enough that you should read the live Impact offer before you ship a review.

Descript is often a flat ~$25 per new subscriber: simple, small, and easy to mention in podcast-editing content without building a whole funnel around it.

How to choose (without lying to your audience)

Match the program to the content you already rank for:

• AI generators, images, video, music, credits: Alexiuz — one link, many products, spend-based lifetime.

• Productivity / templates / “second brain”: Notion.
